Biography
Mark Vallecorsa is a senior real estate manager with over 14 years of industry experience managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property, including retail developments, office buildings and mixed-use projects. Mark’s valuable accounting background assists both institutional and private investors in property operations budgeting, disposition/acquisition due diligence, project management and asset advisory analysis.
Mark’s most recent experience includes a senior property manager and financial analyst position at Kidder Mathews, assisting in the development and onboarding of management operations in San Diego, along with managing a portfolio of commercial assets valued at over $120 million. He spent 10 years with StepStone Real Estate Services, acting as a real estate manager, assistant controller, and lease administrator where, along with managing a commercial portfolio, he performed much of the property financial analysis, review and setup of leases, and creation and billing of annual operating expense reconciliations.
Mark’s accounting experience includes a role as an Assurance & Advisory Services auditor at Ernst & Young LLP. He is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of San Diego, where he received both academic and athletic scholarships. He played NCAA Division I Baseball and was previously selected in the Major League Baseball amateur draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He continues his involvement with USD as a member of the Business Alumni Association and Torero Varsity Association.
